Wow! Its already March (and I still haven’t posted.) Hope everyone is well on their way, getting those resolutions into place or planning for those goals and aspirations to get us through another year… maybe your next travel destination (or your next 7..)
Pants: Universal Store
Shoes: Dr. Martens
I brought in the near year with friends. We had some drinks and headed to a local park to hang out and listen to some tunes. I was so comfy in these pants. They are super flatteing but were also perfect for lounging on the grass!
I’ve been a bit up and down with my mental health so far this month but had put the expectation on myself yo get my Etsy store up and running for the start of March. I celebrated my minor victory at 11:50pm on the 1st of March, adding my first listing to my new Etsy!
(Shop the Katie Preloved Floral Detail Shirt here)
Considering my set back I have decided to allow myself the month to get some more preloved clothing up and then hopefully get some handmade goods up soon!
On top of this I have made the decision to move to London in July to make it easier to travel some or Europe! I can get a British passport which will make things easy living and working on London and hopefully getting some good trips into Europe done to pick up more preloved goods!
Honestly if you live in the UK or really anywhere in Europe let me know, I would love to hear about some cool new places to see and super excited to meet some new people along the way!
Here’s to making a start to another of my yearly goals, blog posting more!
Wish me luck!
70 days until I’ll be boarding my first flight to Japan!
I now have Wednesday off each week, so i have more time for sewing (and mental recuperation.) Today I did a mash of things, cleaned my bedroom and bedding, sorted out my sewing supplies, (played The Sims for about 4 hours,) and scoured pinterest for some outfit ideas for my budget trip to Japan this October.
I want my clothes to be easily rotatable and repeatable. Because I still need to spend some good money on shoes and a bag, I’m hoping to be able to take mostly the clothes I already own along with some well picked fillers, required items and “pop” pieces!
Obviously they also need to be able to sit in a bag for periods of time and my god, I avoid ironing even at home.
I also have a lot of thinking to do about shoes for day wear, dressing up and hiking.
This will be a timely process…
Photos do not belong to me.

Had planned to have a relaxed day at home today, plotting along editing photos, watching movies and planning travel sights and adventures after the crappy week I’ve had…
Well, i have no internet again. Although I had solved that drama last night by borrowing my brothers telstra laptop (unlimitied) hotspot.
I got home this morning to find my laptop thrown on the ground (along with both my phones,) as the result of yet another of my fur baby Miley’s late night tantrums.
Luckily the laptop is fine however my charger snapped right off so now no battery power!!! So, clothes and eyebrows on, off I go to the weekend crowds to buy 1 thing that i cant even afford. Wahhhh
Got super cosy in my cord dungaree/overalls from American Rag
I bought the other week when my skirt tore on the way to work cause I got a phatt ass. Everytime i had walked past their window over the prior week i had been eyeing them off along with a few other pieces.
Small chain: Dalmata
I bought a bunch of necklaces cause they are so affordable and turned out to be super good quality. This ones my daily go to but they have some rad stuff. Cant wait to buy more
Big chain: Tunnel Vision
Socks: Huff x Cheech and Chong x 420
Shoes: Adidas Originals Court Vantage
So I went out and they didnt even have my charger in stock anyway so i ordered one off eBay and went home for movies on the couch after rummaging the house for dvds and a player. Life.
